Baptisms of 2021

Amanda Beth Brown Strickland entered the waters of baptism on September 12, 2021. Amanda came to us with her husband Eric Strickland, a lifelong member of FBC. She and Eric have four children, who have come up through our children and youth ministries. Amanda has taught and cared for our children and youth. She serves in the GAs and Mission Friends.

Rachel Raynor entered the waters of baptism on October 10th, 2021. Rachel's mother Elizabeth is a lifelong FBC member and serves in GAs and on the preschool committee. Rachel's grandparents Linwood and Patsy Parker are also lifelong devoted members of FBC. Rachel has come up through our Children's programs and is now in GA's.

Katie McLamb entered the waters of baptism on October 10, 2021. Katie's mother, Summer, is our pianist and a lifelong FBC member. Her grandparents Robert and Rose Allen are lifelong, devoted members of FBC. Katie is in GA's and sings with the youth band.

Carly Fogleman entered the waters of baptism on October 10, 2021. She is our Four Oaks photographer, and active in the town business community. Carly came to us with her husband, Eric, who attended FBC in his teens. Her children Emilia and Nolan attended FBC preschool. Carly is on the preschool committee and sings in our ensemble.

Sep 26: WMU Sunday 100th Anniversary

Amy Pardue Boone, the WMUNC Executive Treasurer and Director delivered a wonderful message for our 100th Anniversary.
Kay Surles gave the memorial recognition for Lessie Mae Vinson. Mary Keene gave the memorial recognition for Jerri McLamb. Diane Heritage gave the memorial recognition for Geraldine Barbour. Annette Langdon gave the memorial recognition for Jenny Temple.
Thank you so much to Laura Rogers and Brenda Barnes for all their wonderful work, for the flowers and decorations, and the sense of history in the day.
Thank you also to the Acteens, Jenna Champagne and Laley Norman for participating.
