Cancer Survivor Sunday

This Sunday we recognized all the cancer survivors in our church. Thank you to Mickey Bridgers, survivor of thyroid cancer, for delivering the message; to Melanie Autry for the flowers; and to Marilyn and Jack Parker for leading our Relay for Life Team. The  theme of Relay for Life this year is Striking Out Cancer. 

Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Deut 31:6

I can do all this through him who gives me strength. Philippians 4:13
