Lib Cannaday Circle mission projects for April: Kennedy Home Food Drive on April 8 & 9. The Johnston Baptist Association will begin collecting items for the Kennedy Home at Johnston Community College campus on April 8 & 9. Please bring donations to church Sunday April 7th and they will be delivered to JCC. This year, they request soup, especially cream soups (mushroom and chicken), muffin mixes, juices, and fruit in its own juice (not sweetened). Gift cards are acceptable so they can purchase perishable meat and other items. They do not need canned green beans, corn, or spinach. Party of tables is on April 13th. Decorate your own table or join someone's table when you arrive. Bring a salad of your choice. Benefits Relay for Life. Admission $10 per person. There will be door prizes and entertainment. Backpack Buddies are covered for April, contact samblair07@gmail.com or Michele if you want to help next month. Candy donations for the egg hunt on April 14th can be left at the church office or the prayer room. The egg hunt will take place immediately after church that Sunday. This Sunday is survivor Sunday. Relay for Life Johnston County is on Saturday May 11 this year at Smithfield-Selma High School. Several WMU mission projects in the upcoming months will focus on fundraising for this event. This includes Party of Tables which is set for Saturday April 13. Lib Canaday Circle For Baby Love this month, we have two families. Michele is doing Tuesday, the church meal will be delivered, Wednesday, and Rosa is doing Thursday. Missions for Christ Mission Group Missions Projects January and February 2019 Support Backpack Buddies each month as needed. January- Purchased needed food items for the church food pantry. February - Contribution to the Heck-Jones Missions offering. Our goal this year $1,500. Our circle is responsible for bringing salads to the WMU lunch, Sunday, February 24.
