Are you a leader who would like to meet and network with other local leaders? Do you need encouragement in this season of ministry? Are you looking for a new way to receive training and spiritual development?
If so, register to attend our upcoming Quarterly Leadership Luncheon next Thursday, January 17th!
This is a great opportunity for local leaders to come together to network, grow in their spiritual walk, and develop their leadership skills. Lunch and all workshop materials are provided with your registration.
January Luncheon Topic: Growing Weary in Ministry
Guest Speaker: Bethany Walker
Location: WMU NC Office; 1200 Front St. Suite 110; Raleigh, NC
Galatians 6:9 tells us, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap the harvest if we do not give up."
Being in any type of leadership role can bring on the pressures and high expectations of doing ministry. In ministry we are constantly going, leaving our goals and tasks flowing well into the next thing. Often times when we don't see an instant result, it can cause us to grow weary and tempted to question our task, or even worse, to quit. Galatians 6:9 tells us not to grow weary for we will reap the harvest. Together we will look at how to stay God-focused on our ministry and not give up!

The WMU theme for 2019 is, “Unshakable Pursuit” from 1 Corinthians 15:58 The 2019 Watchword: “My dear friends, stand firm and don’t be shaken. Always keep busy working for the Lord. You know that everything you do for him is worthwhile." WMU members, please bring either a salad or dessert for a covered dish lunch to be served after the morning service in the Fellowship Hall. All four WMU Groups, Acteens, G.A.’s and Mission Friends are invited to lunch.
