Rev. Lawrence (Larry) Harper delivered the message through the month of January.  On December 31, during the worship service, we honored Annette Langdon for forty years of service as our organist and pianist.  We held our annual Christmas Eve service on Sunday, December 24, at 6. Rev. Lee Colbert led us and served communion. The preschool provided luminaries on the doorway and sidewalks in front of the church. A special thank you to all who read and performed.   Rev. Lee Colbert delivered the message through the month of December, guiding us through the Christmas season.  On November 19, the children performed Mrs. Dorothy Parker's Thankgiving play. The congregation honored John for his twenty-six years of service to our church. Speakers were: John Hatch, Johnnie Sue, Jami, Harold, and Heather. The youth band, including Justin, Amelia, Lela, Callie Mac, Katie, Allie, and Daniel (at the piano) performed.   We held homecoming on November 8, 2023. Rev. John Norman delivered the message. It was also his last Sunday preaching for us. John baptized Carolina Tucker. John and Michele served communion to the congregation.  |
