The Relay for Life team held a Silent Auction fundraiser on April 30 from 10am to 3pm. We had beautiful art from several local artists, two fishing trips, a car detailing kit, quilts, and many other donations. We raised over $4500, all proceeds to the American Cancer Society for cancer research and patient care. 

Friday night, April 22, the youth slept in the church parking lot to raise awareness for homelessness. Ben Olson from the Smithfield Rescue Mission spoke to the youth about homelessness and their ministry serving the homeless in Johnston County. Then youth earned resources with their skills and talents, collecting items for the Smithfield Rescue Mission.

Congregations from several Four Oaks churches gathered in Barbour's Grove on Easter Sunday morning for a Sunrise Service. Rev. Adam Charville of Four Oaks United Methodist Church delivered the message.
