On June 23, the pastoral search committee hosted a lunch for all members after the worship service to report on the results of the membership survey. The survey asked members their thoughts on pastoral age, experience, education, training, and skills. Eighty-three members responded to the survey, both from the bulletin insert and online. 

The youth and children had their first movie night on June 21. Thank you to all who set up, popped popcorn, and poured lemonade. 

On Saturday, June 15 FBC held Vacation Bible School. Thank you so much to Lisa McDowell for taking point, and to all our group leaders, kitchen crew, craft team, music team, coaches, and teachers for a beautiful day. 

Congratulations to Drew,  graduating from SJHS, and to all the graduates of the class of 2024.

The preschool held graduation in the fellowship hall on Sunday, June 2. This year the preschool sends fourteen four-year-olds to Kindergarten. Thank you so much to our wonderful teachers for an amazing year: Cindy, Tammy, Betty Jean, Kay, Laura, Monica, Tina, and Ellen. Thank you to Ashley, Anna Kate, and all the parents who subbed and helped with activities this year. Thank you to the preschool committee for your help with graduation. Thank you to Tim, Don, Terry, and all who help us set up for graduation. Thank you to Caleb for the t-shirts and to Jackie for the amazing decorations. We wish everybody an amazing summer.
