Jami and the youth kicked off a new school year with a cook out. Thanks to Heather and Carlie Durham for hosting, and for all who cooked, organized, and came out! The Champagnes threw a pool party for the youth and kids in July. Huge thanks to Josh and Jami for hosting!
The youth and children had a great time on the church wide King's Domion trip the last weekend in July. In July, the youth took a four-day trip to Shelby, NC, to work with the Baptist Men on Mission. They sorted food, built a ramp, and learned about missions (https://baptistsonmission.org/camps/deep-impact). 11 For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. 12 It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright and godly lives in this present age, 13 while we wait for the blessed hope—the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, 14 who gave himself for us to redeem us from all wickedness and to purify for himself a people that are his very own, eager to do what is good.
