On October 21, the Baptist Men, led by Don, held Operation In-As-Much. Projects in the community included: yard work, painting and repairing windows, improving the food pantry shelving, cleaning the church quilt display case, cleaning the fellowship hall kitchen, rearranging the history room, preparing meals for shut-ins, preparing welcome baskets for new people in the community, adding a window to a preschool classroom door, witnessing at the rest stop, gleaning sweet potatoes, and quilting. Thank you to all who came out to help in the community and let our light shine. 

On October 8, 2023, Rev. John Norman accepted a call to a position at Campbell Divinity School and tendered his resignation. He became our pastor on November 9, 1997, and has been our faithful shepherd for twenty-six years.
