Family we lost in 2020: Jerri McClamb

Mrs. Geralean “Jerri” Blackmon McLamb, age 92, passed away on Wednesday, April 29, 2020 at Windsor Point in Fuquay Varina.  She was born in Johnston County to the late William McKinley and Lenora Price Blackmon.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Bryan Lee McLamb, granddaughter, Aimee McLamb and a great-granddaughter, Mathilde Grace Tate.  Mrs. McLamb was a retired registered nurse working with the Hoke County Public Health Department, United Cerebral Palsy Association and retired from the North Carolina Industrial Commission as a rehab nurse. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Four Oaks. Surviving include her sons, Rev. Sam McLamb and wife, Teena of Mills River; Gary McLamb and wife, Inge of Burlington; four grandchildren, Suzanne M. Plunket and husband, Chris, Bryan P. McLamb and wife, Lauren, Amanda McLamb, and Stephen McLamb; three great-grandchildren, Brayden, Abrie, and Lena; sister, Alma Jean Bass of Greenville.
